Stream your owned copy anywhere
Architect Life: A House Design Simulator has now been added to Xbox’s growing list of cloud-compatible games through the Stream your owned games feature. If you’ve purchased the game digitally on Xbox or PC, you can now stream it instantly on your browser, mobile, tablet, or console without needing to install it or subscribe to Game Pass. As long as it’s tied to your account, it’s good to go.
This system has been steadily expanding since launch, and it’s worth keeping an eye on which games quietly get added. Architect Life is one of the latest to make the jump, and it’s a strong fit for the flexibility cloud play offers.
A detailed home design sim that makes sense on the cloud
Architect Life drops you into the role of a solo designer with full control over everything from the layout of rooms to the placement of furniture. Unlike more arcade-style building games, this one leans into realism, giving players the chance to plan, build, decorate, and renovate in a grounded but creative way. You’ll manage floor plans, adjust lighting, change paint colours, and work around structural limitations to complete both personal projects and client-based jobs.
There’s no combat or fast-paced timing here. It’s about making something functional and visually satisfying. That slower, methodical pacing makes it perfect for playing across devices, especially if you want to jump into a session on a second screen or quickly test out some ideas without fully launching your console setup. It’s one of those games that works well in short bursts, and now that it’s streamable, it’s easier to fit into your day.

Another welcome addition to Xbox’s ‘Stream Your Owned Games’ list
Architect Life is just one of many games that now support streaming directly from your digital library. As long as the publisher has enabled it, Xbox Cloud Gaming will let you launch your owned titles on the go without needing Game Pass. It’s a feature that has quietly grown over time, with more and more titles becoming available each month.
