The cloud gaming library for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members continues its impressive expansion. This week, two more blockbuster titles, Back 4 Blood and Borderlands 2, are available to stream if you own them digitally.
The addition of Borderlands 2 is especially exciting for fans, as it now joins its sequel, Borderlands 3, which is already available to play on Game Pass. With two classic adventures from the franchise ready to stream, it makes you wonder: could we see the recently announced Borderlands 4 arrive as a day-one title? We’ll have to wait and see.
For now, here’s a look at the two latest games you can jump into without waiting for a download.
Back 4 Blood
Back 4 Blood is a thrilling cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of the Left 4 Dead franchise. You are at the center of a war against the Ridden, once-human hosts of a deadly parasite who have turned into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilization.
It’s built for intense four-player co-op and endless replayability. With a dynamic Game Director constantly adjusting to your actions and a unique card system for custom builds, no two playthroughs are ever the same.
Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 drops you back onto the unpredictable living planet of Pandora in a quest for revenge and redemption. This sequel expands on everything that made the original a hit, with a bazillion more guns, a massive new world of creatures and psychos, and the iconic, tyrannical villain, Handsome Jack.
It’s a vibrant, cel-shaded loot-shooter with a heavy dose of humor and over-the-top action. Whether you’re playing solo or with up to three friends in co-op, you’ll be hunting for vaults, collecting endless weapon variations, and battling across diverse and surprising environments.
