A free new update has just landed for The Precinct on Xbox Series X|S, bringing two major features: Solo Mode and customisation options for both vehicles and your character. Developer Fallen Tree Games and publisher Kwalee announced the patch as part of the game’s ongoing post-launch support, with the update now live.
Solo Mode: Patrol Without Backup
Solo Mode lets you patrol Averno City completely alone, without your AI partner. That means every crime scene, chase, and shootout falls entirely on your shoulders. It’s a tougher, more immersive way to play, especially for those who want a purer sandbox cop experience.
Cop Cars and Custom Fits
All six squad cars now have five new livery options, letting you match your cruiser to your policing style. Officer Nick Cordell Jr. also gets a full wardrobe upgrade, with 10 outfits, 8 hats, and 4 types of glasses now available in the character customiser.
Still Growing
This is the latest update in what looks to be steady support from the team at Fallen Tree Games. With discounts coming to other platforms this week, it’s clear they’re keeping momentum up — and Xbox players can grab the update now for free.
Available on: Xbox Series X|S
Update Release: Week of June 24, 2025
