Back 4 Blood is a thrilling cooperative first-person shooter from Turtle Rock Studios, the creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise. Players are thrust into a post-apocalyptic world at the center of a war against the Ridden. These once-human hosts of a deadly “Devil Worm” parasite have turned into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilization. The game’s core is a four-player cooperative story campaign where you and your team of “Cleaners” must fight through dynamic, perilous levels to eradicate the Ridden and reclaim the world.

In addition to the main campaign, Back 4 Blood features a competitive “Swarm” mode, an 8-player PvP experience where a team of four Cleaners faces off against a team of four player-controlled Ridden. A key feature that adds significant replayability is the “rogue-lite” Card System. Before each mission, players build a deck of cards that grant bonuses and abilities, while an AI “Game Director” plays “Corruption Cards” to alter environmental conditions, spawn special enemies, and increase the horde’s ferocity, ensuring no two playthroughs are the same.
